SIGN CABINET  and FACES
When ordering or quoting a sign, it is important to know what is available with the different options. The first answer that must be resolved is how you intend to mount your sign or how is it already mounted. Below you will see the different available mounting methods. Now you must decide how you would like the cabinet to be built. There are two options... Custom Steel Welded in an aluminum skin or Extruded Aluminum. Steel framed signed are the most popular, stronger and built to order. Extruded are not as strong, all aluminum, lighter and less expensive. It is always best for welded steel signs to be manufactured for larger signs.

Next, you must decide what type of face you would like. Below you will see the criteria and explanation for choosing the right face for the right sign.

GOOD Flat Faces   Most of you are familiar with applying vinyl to flat acrylic sheets. This is a very useful application in many cases. We do not recommend using flat faces in cases where the dimensions are greater than 32 square feet. A flat face loses its strength as it becomes larger and runs the risk of being blown out of the cabinet.

BETTER Pan Faces   Pan faces are an excellent alternative to flat faces. The face is vacuum formed to a depth of 2". This gives more than just a decorative appearance to the face, it adds strength and durability. White pan faces can have translucent vinyl or you may wish to have ImagePro back spray the artwork in translucent paints so it will come to you completely finished.

BEST Pan Embossed Faces Pan embossed faces are similar to pan faces, but some or all of the copy may be raised. Dies are placed on top of the mold to create this effect. Embossed pans can cosmetically improve the appearance of the face as well as adding additional strength.

BIG BEST Flex Faces   Flex Face with Digital Print or Extrication and Vinyl Flex faces are the ultimate in large format faces. They are a backlit translucent fabric material hat allows the breathing of large faces. Excellent light properties and the versatility to fill large and dimensional sign faces. The product is stretched into place leaving a clean flat appearance.
